Families of the World DVD Review & {Giveaway} (CLOSED)

As a mother and an educator I find value in products that help children learn new things. The Families of the World DVDs do just that. They are great videos that children will enjoy watching. And the best thing is they will learn so many things about families in other cultures and countries.

We got the opportunity to review the Families of Guatemala, Families of Panama, and More Families of Mexico DVDs. These three new DVDs follow the family life of families in their culture. Each features two children from different places or walks of life in their particular country.

These DVDs are great for teachers and librarians to use for young students. They are very informative and fun. I've always enjoyed learning about other cultures and countries. And it's even neater to see if from a child's perspective.

I can see these being a great resource for schools to incorporate into their curriculum. They would also be good for homeschoolers. They are most appropriate for grade school children, but my 3 year old likes them well enough. They don't keep his attention the whole time, but he does ask to watch them from time to time.
