"Achieve Anything in Just One Year" Book Review + {Giveaway}

Uplifting words. Words of encouragement. Setting goals. Meeting our goals. Achieving success. Living the dream. These are all great things. And these are all things I've found so far in the book "Achieve Anything in Just One Year: Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dream and Accomplish Your Goals" by Jason Harvey.

"Achieve Anything in Just One Year: Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dream and Accomplish Your Goals" by Jason Harvey is a self-improvement book. It's laid out in a day by day easy-to-read format. Each page/day has new encouragements, goals, and some have little "homework" assignments. It's all meant to keep you uplifted and on track to meet your goal.

From the "Achieve Anything in Just One Year: Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dream and Accomplish Your Goals" website: Feel happier everyday! Overcome procrastination. Set goals and stick with them. Stay motivated, focused and balanced. Find out what you really want from life. Take daily action that creates a ripple effect. Define, pursue and celebrate personal success. You will learn how to make small daily choices that will transform your life, find your personal inspiration and rediscover your motivation. This will propel you out of an unfulfilling existence and into the happy, fulfilling life you deserve.

I found this book inspiring and stretching. I have not gone through the whole book (because that would take a year), but I've enjoyed the start of it. It made me step back and view my life from the outside. For instance, in the first day your assignment is to write down any dreams that you have as you think of them. While I haven't done that completely, I did appreciate the thought. Being about to look at my life and see what kind of goals that I've set (or need to set) for myself is eye opening. I learned more about myself.

The one thing about this book that I think people may not like is what makes it good too. It's so positive and upbeat. It's hard to commit to something like that every day. I'm a very optimistic person, so the upbeat cheerfulness each day didn't really bother me. I just know it would get to some people. But if you're a pessimist, maybe this is the book you need!

"Achieve Anything in Just One Year: Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dream and Accomplish Your Goals" by Jason Harvey is a good self-help book. If you need something to get yourself on track, this is the book for you. I also think it would make a great gift for someone starting a new chapter in their lives. And it would be a good graduation gift with that season upon us.
