John Deere’s “Fun on the Farm” DVD + {Giveaway – Ends 3/14} (CLOSED)

My son’s first loves were tractors and animals. They are still two of his biggest loves at almost 5 years old. He’s fascinated by large machinery, and I think it’s safe to say most kids are into animals. Put the two together and what do you get…farms! That’s why Fun on the Farm is a great new DVD. It combines John Deere tractors with loveable animals and shows children what farms are all about.

The Fun on the Farm DVD takes children on the adventure from animals to machinery. They will show them how food is grown from planting to harvesting, plus you get to see the big tractors that do the work. You’ll enjoy the fun hosts Doodle Rooster and his friends Bell Cow and Harvey Horse. You can even join in the trip to the “Farm in the Zoo” which is at Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo. This is a place where urban kids can learn all about what farms do right there in the city. And my son’s favorite part is when you get to see how John Deere makes their combines at the John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, IL.

Zachariah thought this DVD was fun. And the tractors and combines definitely grabbed his attention. He always soaks up new information about the things he’s interested in too. The other thing that was fun for him was the “Name the Letter” and “The Cloud Game” the he could play along with.

The Fun on the Farm DVD is great for children ages 2-5 years old. The movie runs about 40 minutes long. I definitely recommend all the John Deere movies, especially if your little preschoolers are interested in farms, tractors, and animals. They will enjoy it.
