Swimming Pools

When we bought our house, one of the things I loved best was the property. It's a good size property for this area. I like our nice front yard with two big pine trees. The backyard is even better with a cement patio, 5 large maple trees and even a full grown cherry tree. It also came complete with wild raspberry vines, a shed, and a place where a pool used to be.

I have always loved swimming. I know that a pool is a lot of work to maintain. But if the pool was still here, I would have been even more thrilled with our house. I have had friends with above ground pools, and they are great. It's so nice in the hot summer to go out and relax in the water. And with kids, they love to play and splash and have a great time in pools. Having kids around pools does scare me a bit, so it's probably a good thing the pool that was on this property is no longer here. But it won't stop me from wishing for one in the middle of July.

  1. Such a nice information about the swimming pools! I think it is used to that above-ground swimming pools have been available only for the wealthy. These pools were exorbitantly expensive to install and maintenance. In recent years, however, a number of reasons, both installation and maintenance costs come in sharply.

  2. I don't think I'm going to be able to fit a kiddie pool in our backyard! lol I'm so ready for winter to be over though.
