Vaseline Review

Vaseline is a company that has been around for a long time. I think their name is very well-known. And their products are in almost every home. Now that says something for a company. Can you believe Vaseline has just celebrated their 140th anniversary? Yep Vaseline has been around since 1870.

To celebrate Vaseline has introduced a few new things. First the have a new flip cap package for the Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. And they have introduced the NEW Rich Conditioning Cocoa Butter variety too.

Vaseline Rich Conditioning Petroleum Jelly, Cocoa Butter 7.5 oz (212 g)

We received a sample of the new Vaseline Petroleum Jelly flip top container. It is very handy. Instead of messing with a tougher top, you can just flip the top and use it easily. I think this was a good idea and I hope it stays.

Vaseline is a great product to have in the winter like this. Today we have temperatures around the zero degree Fahrenheit mark. My knuckles get dry and if they aren’t treated they will crack. It always happens in the winter like this. Being at home all the time, I have my hands in dishwater, cleaning the house with cleaning products, washing my hands a lot to keep from spreading (or receiving germs), and more. It leaves my poor hands so dry. Lotion helps, but my knuckles and other dry spots need a little more TLC. I find that using something thicker like Vaseline Petroleum Jelly on them helps them to heal and keep moisture, especially when I put it on at bedtime.

Do you use Vaseline? What is your favorite use for it? Vaseline has other great products as well. You can check out their new Facebook page and tell them what you like to use their product for.

Buy It:  Vaseline products are available in many stores and online.

*Disclosure: I was not paid to post this, but a product was provided to me for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.*

  2. Oh gosh! I don't know if you recall our troubled history with Vaseline... but the flip cap is probably not so childproof. :-)
