EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale Review + {Giveaway- Ends 4/26} (CLOSED)

We have always had a bathroom scale in our house. We’ve had the same scale for our whole married life (almost 11 years). I don’t remember if it’s something we bought, or maybe something Matt had before I even moved in with him after our wedding. Hard to say, but it’s cheap and old. I never knew for sure if it was reading correctly anyway. So, it truly was time for a new scale.

When we received the EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale, I was impressed from the start. The smooth glass top on the scale gives it a sharp look and won’t clash with any bathroom decor. The feet on it are silver, which helps give it a sleek, modern look. The EatSmart scale has a large 3.5” LCD display with a cool blue backlight, so it’s easy for anyone to read. It has 4 high precision sensors for accurate measuring. This scale has “step-on” technology; no more messing with tapping the scale before you get on it. All you do is step on and it’s ready to go. Other advantages are that it’s auto calibrated, has auto power-off, and runs on 4 AAA batteries.

We found the EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale very easy to use. The first time that you use it out of the box (or it you ever move it), you must step on it to read once, disregard that reading, then step back on for the second reading. Then it is all set up and ready to use. It reads up to 400 lbs and has .2 lbs increments. I liked that I had an immediate accurate reading. And you can easily see how much your weight fluctuates from different times of the day and from day to day.

I like the way this scale looks in my bathroom. It’s large 12” x 13” platform is great for use, but not too large that it takes up a lot of room in my tiny bathroom. I don’t have a lot of space, but on the floor under our towel rack is perfect. It tends to get drips of water that dry on it, but they easily wipe of when I’m cleaning the bathroom anyway.

My 5 year old son, Zachariah, loves the scale as well. He is always curious about weighing himself to see his 40 lbs…or 40.2 lbs…or 40.4 lbs. It’s cute. He’d do it all day long, but we have to remind him not to use it too often. Once in a while is OK. Since his weight has been the same for about a year, it’s not that exciting anyway. I think he just likes the digital readout. He knows that he can read the number himself.

This has been a great scale for my family, and I’m glad that we’ve finally replaced our old one. I hope that it will last a long time, because there is so much we like about it.
