Business Cards/Blog Cards

OK, it’s been long enough. I don’t have any (and never had) business/blog cards for PS Mom Reviews. What a tragedy. I’ve been to a few small events where I really wished I had them to pass out. It would be nice when I’m making a new friend and telling them about my blog to be able to hand them a card with my blog address and other information.

I have seen a few places online that I can order cards from. Part of my problem is I’m cheap. I have a limited budget for blog related things. I know that Vista Print offers some free cards, but I don’t know if those have enough on them for me.

What do I need on my business card? Should it be one-sided? or two? Should I have my picture on it or is my blog logo enough?

What do you think? What do you like on a business card? Or what have you seen that you love? Where can I get the best bang for my buck? Suggestions and ideas are needed!

  1. One of the best business card tips I've ever heard is to make sure the back is blank and noncoated (not shiny/slick paper) so that people can make notes on it if there is something they want to remember about you/your business.

If you have your name/blog address on there and a quick sentence or two about what it is about that seems good to me!

  4. IF cost is the concern then go with Vista Print. Designs can be as simple or as elaborate as you want. I am creating some business cards for some clients using their blog design as the inspiration. The information will inlcude name, blog name/url, tag line and email address.
I recently ordered from moo.com the quality is INCREDIBLE!

  5. I always go with the one sided approach, keeping one side completely blank. If you go to the right place, the process of designing and making your business cards can be addicting! Have fun nd do not stress.
