What we thought: My son was so exited to pick out his very own pair of Stompeez. He, of course, has seen the commercial on TV and has already asked for these several times. They come in 8 different styles: All Blue Puppy, Unusual Unicorn, Growlin' Dragon, Perky Puppy, Be-Bop Bunny, Playful Puppy, Peek-a-Boo Kitty, and Sir One-Eyed Monster. And they all are made in Small, Medium and Large. The small will fit most children under 5 years old (size 5-11). The medium is size 11.5-4 and large is 5-9. The product: I was introduced to the Skinny Girl bath collection. I got the Skinny Girl Bath Collection Margarita. It includes a 6 oz. Margarita Shower Gel, 4.34 oz. Exfoliating Body Scrub, and a 5.75 oz. Margarita Body Lotion. The same set also comes in Sangria scented.

What I thought: I really enjoyed the scent of the Margarita collection. It has a sweet, lime scent to it that is really refreshing. The shower gel didn't last long for me. I liked to us it every day. It worked great and was smooth and cleansing. The lotion has a similar scent. It is a light scent that I noticed for a while, but it's not overwhelming. This is a great little gift set that any woman would enjoy.

Holiday Gift Guide: Caboodles

Caboodles...do you remember them? The little cases that carried all our makeup and such? I had one (or more now that I think about it) growing up. It was a fun thing to have to keep all my "getting ready" things in one place. Well, they are back, and just in time for the holidays. What I thought: I was excited to see that this company is still around and still making great products. I had a little Caboodle when I was a young girl. I don't know what all I kept in it, because it was probably before I wore make-up, but I think I kept my hairspray, brush, lotion, perfume, stuff like that in it. It worked well for be, because we didn't have storage space in our tiny bathroom. I would just keep my bathroom things in my Caboodle in my room and bring it with me to the bathroom each morning to get ready. I loved it then and I still think they're great now.

Holiday Gift Idea: This year I'm taking a Caboodle and filling it with makeup, lip gloss, and other such things for my sister-in-law. I think it will be a great Christmas gift for her. I'm never sure what to get her, so some fun makeup things in a cute storage box will be just the thing. I think she'll really like it.

What I thought: This book is very good. It's written in short little stories and devotions. It is a great gift for family and friends in your life who need a little uplifting and encouragement. The Burpos use their stories from their son's recollection of heaven to relate to real-life and share a little daily inspiration for us all. Having a little insight to heaven might be just what we all need.

What I thought: Sorry that I wasn't able to share this great offer with you earlier, but I still appreciate the sales and things that Kroger runs all of the time. My son has enjoyed the dry erase crayons to draw over and over on a little white board. I think these are a great alternative to markers. Less mess, so younger kids can enjoy them too. And they are available at Target, which my whole family always enjoys shopping at. I just wish we had one closer.

What I thought: The Fiber One Nutty Clusters & Almonds cereal is very tasty. I like the flavors with the crunch of the nutty clusters and the great flavor and texture of the almonds in it too. Not only did I enjoy this cereal, but the rest of my family did too. I think this is a great choice for my son over other sugary cereals he could choose.

What I thought: I've been wearing these slippers for a while now. I get so many compliments when other people see them. They are small and easily fit in a suitcase for overnight stays at hotels or relatives. I got stopped in an elevator once, because two women were admiring my slippers on the way to breakfast. Too funny! That tells you how cute they really are.

These shoes are really comfortable too. I like that I have a nice, soft slipper to walk on at home without all the warmth that most slippers have. They are great to use in the summer especially, or even the rest of the year when slippers make your feet too hot.

Although my mom said she could wear these outdoors, I would not. The only reason is I don't think they have enough padding/support on the bottom to wear outside. I keep mine as house slippers. But they are great ones that I highly recommend. These are one of the best new products I've had in a while! And they'd be a great Christmas gift for that special lady in your life.

22 Weeks Pregnant

I can't believe that I'm 22 weeks (almost 23 weeks) pregnant! Time is flying. I am enjoying this pregnancy, even though I've had more woes that last time. There is no denying, however, that this baby BOY is growing and growing well.

What I thought: I had the chance to use the REACH Total Care + Whitening Toothbrush and Floss. While I can't say that I'm noticed a big difference in the whiteness of my teeth, I do really like both of these products. The toothbrush is a great shape and makes getting to all my teeth very easy. I really like the floss. It is smooth and flexible and easily fits between all my teeth. My favorite part is that it's wider than more floss, which seems to get my teeth cleaner. These are both great products that I use everyday. I know you'll like them too.

Worlds Together "Ethiopia" DVD

In school our children learn about our country. They also begin to learn about other countries around the world. I think it's a great way to introduce our children to real world things. And this company knows how to do it for children to understand and enjoy.

What I thought: This DVD really makes learning about Ethiopia fun for children. They get to see a place where many people have never been and hear about how life there is. I love that this DVD helps incorporate new ways of learning into children's lives. It's a great resource to have at home and a good addition to any school library. (Now I'm really interested in seeing the West Africa DVD, since my husband has been there several times.)
