Shaun the Sheep: A Woolly Good Time DVD Review + {Giveaway} (CLOSED)

Have "ewe" seen any Shaun The Sheep videos before? If so, you know what faaaaaaabbbbbulous fun they are. The newest DVD Shaun The Sheep: A Woolly Good Time has just been released, and it lives up to all the fun-loving woolly antics.

Shaun the Sheep has been awards an International Emmy Award for Children & Young People recently. And you can see him daily on the Disney Channel with his 5 minute shorts. But the only way that you can see Shaun's full-length episodes are on DVD.

I have to tell you, I enjoy watching the little shorts on Disney when I can. But this DVD is super! I laugh and enjoy it just as much, or probably more, than my son. The creators of Wallace & Gromit sure know what they're doing. They have the ability to reach a wide and diverse audience too. This DVD is a good one for the entire family to enjoy together.

The episodes on Shaun The Sheep: A Woolly Good Time include:
-"Washday" - Can the sheep clean up the mess they made of the farmers laundry in time?
-"Tooth Fairy" - Can Shaun fix an achy tooth, or will the vet be needed?
-"The Farmer's Niece" - The farmer's naughty little niece takes charge of the flock.
-"Snore-Worn Shaun" - If you can't get Shirley to stop snoring, how can you get her out of the barn?
-"Helping Hound" - A robotic dog is put to the test.
-"Big Top Timmy" - Timmy joins the circus, Shaun wants to rescue him.
This DVD is targeted at people of all ages. That's one of the best things about it. It runs approximately 39 minutes.

Buy It: The Shaun The Sheep: A Woolly Good Time DVD is available in stores beginning today 2/16 and online as well.

Win It: I have three (3) copies of Shaun The Sheep: A Woolly Good Time DVD to give to you lucky readers!

Kelly's Cake Off For a Cause

Kelly Ripa and Electrolux have joined up with TLC's own "Cake Boss", Buddy Valastro, in a baking event to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. What a great way to join together two wonderful things...baking and helping a great cause!

Kelly's Cake Off For a Cause had 5 baking teams competing against each other with a little help from Kelly and the Cake Boss. You might not be able to sample the goods that were made, but you can still be heard when you go to vote for your favorite cake.

For every vote case, Electrolux will donate $1.00 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund as part of it's $500,000 commitment to help fight ovarian cancer! You can also "decorate" and send a virtual cake to a friend or loved one. And for every cake sent, Electrolux will donate another $1.00 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Just by having a little fun with this event, you will be helping a great cause.

And to add icing on the cake, everyone who logs on to the site and sends a virtual cake will be automatically entered for a chance to win a new Induction Range from Electrolux. So, what are you waiting for, go enter!

My husband and I used to do the Nielsen Home Scan Consumer Panel. They sent us a little handheld scanner (like stores use), and we scanned all our purchases for them.

It was pretty fun to do. We got to tell them about our shopping tenancies. And in return we earned valuable points that we could redeem for electronics, household items, jewelry, toys, gift cards, and more.

What did we use our points on? Well, we saved up and used them to purchase some items for our son for Christmas that year. A great way to put a little work in and get great rewards in return.

If you're interested, follow the link below and sign up with Nielsen Home Scan Consumer Panel.
