Bedtime is a special time for parents and children. Moms and Dads are ready to tuck their little kids into bed for a peaceful night sleep...and let's admit it: we enjoy the peace & quiet. Our bedtime routine has been crucial for getting our little guy to sleep since he was a baby. It involves a bath/shower, lots of hugs and cuddles, reading a book, prayers and then listening to music as he doses off. He has always liked falling asleep to music after reading a book.
The product: About Over the Moon, a book and CD set:
On May 8, 2012, Over The Moon: The Broadway Lullaby Project will release a collection of 26 original lullabies, written and performed by some of Broadway’s biggest stars, and a 48-page children’s book and ebook illustrated by America’s best-loved artists. The project benefits breast cancer research, support, and education.

Meanwhile, the project's book component also features a distinctive cover illustration by fabled cartoonist/playwright Jules Feiffer, along with a foreword written by stage and screen legend Julie Andrews and her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton. Among the award-winning illustrators lending their talents are Selina Alko, Lynne Avril, Paulette Bogan, Beowulf Boritt, Lauren Castillo, R. What we thought:
My son really enjoyed the Over the moon book and CD. We would read the lullaby's in the book each night before bed. Then he could quietly drift off to sleep listening to the soothing songs of these lullaby's. This is a book/CD set that parents and children will both like. I think it makes a great addition to every kid's room.
