The product: Maybe you're looking for a daily journal that will help you keep your thoughts and memories safe. Or perhaps you're not great at writing things down, but would love to have somewhere to jot down things you don't want to forget. Journal 10+ works for all of these.
Journal 10+ is a nicely bound, leatherette book that is made specifically with long-term journaling in mind. Journal 10+ isn't for someone who likes to write pages and pages about their days. It's more for people like me who have the best intentions for writing about my life at the moment, remembering things my son has done and said, but just don't always get to it. It has a few lines for each day for you to jot down important things. And the name Journal 10+ comes from the 10 years of dates that this journal holds. You can keep memories and more for 10 years in one place.
Here's a little more about it from their website:
In a perfect world your memories would record and organize themselves.
In the real world Journal 10+ helps you capture and treasure special moments in your life.
Just scribble down a few sentences each day and, before you know it, you have a decade of memories and observations at your fingertips! Each "daily page" of the Journal 10+ offers room to write about one day - May 6th, say - every time it comes around from 2010 to 2020 (start any time in 2010). What fun to compare what was happening in your life on any given day as the years go by. The subject matter is toally up to you...record what you do or how you feel, what you eat or what you read, finiancial data or medical notes, local weather or world events - be creative! This convenient personal volume also offers sections for long-range planning, monthly overviews, addresses and phone numbers, and special dates. Bound in a durable leatherette cover, this unique diary will quickly become a treasured possession.
Let Journal 10+ help preserve precious memories before it's too late. Why?
Because Time Flies - record them now and build a memoir to treasure.
- Takes just 5 minutes a day
- No pressure to fill a blank page
- Builds over time into a family memoir
- As you make each entry you see what was happening on that day in previous years
- Re-reading triggers memories of people, place and events otherwise forgotten
- Captures personal and family development and milestones
What I thought: I love the idea of the Journal 10+. I was very excited to receive it. At first I was pretty good about jotting down daily activities and fun things my son did and said. Then things got a little crazy for us. A lot of stuff took a back seat. My son was sick about every 2 weeks, which meant doctor appointments and pharmacy visits. Plus days off from school. It just really threw me out of whack with a schedule. All that to say I haven't been good about using the Journal 10+.
I love the idea of it. The Journal 10+ is nicely laid out with a few lines for each day. And if you need a little more space on a particular day, there are extra areas in the back that you can easily mark and find. This is a very easy to use journal. And I really like that I can add to it little by little over the course of 10 years. Each day is marked and laid out to that particular year, so you won't forget to mark it.
It doesn't take long to jot down a few thoughts each day. Just a few minutes will do it. I'd like to get back in the habit of writing and taking down my thoughts and feelings. It's great to document some of the things my son does and says.
I also think this makes a wonderful gift for anyone in your life. With Mother's Day and Father's Day coming up, it might be a great choice. It's something that anyone can use and treasure for many years to come.
