Neutrogena UltraSheer(R) Liquid Sunblock Review

I recognize the danger in sun exposure. I try to protect my skin and be cognizant of that. Do I always remember to put on sunblock? No.

In fact at the beginning of each summer I always forget. And even when I do remember, it's easy to have it washed off from sweat when I'm working hard outside or from swimming in the pool. This is especially true for my face and chest. I always burn something.

When I saw the chance to try Neutrogena UltaSheer(R) Liquid, I knew it would be a good thing to check out. It's made specifically for the face and other parts of the body. But it's lightweight and spreads easily, so you won't see it on our face.

I tried it out as soon as I got it. I like that it is lighter than most sunblocks. It really does go on like water, like they say. But I also found that it still gave my face that "oily" feeling like I get with sunblocks. I don't even like to wear full foundation (especially liquid), because it makes my face very oily looking. I have not found something that doesn't do this to me. Unfortunately this sunblock is the same way.

I do like it for outdoor use though. When I'm going out in the sun any time, I really want to make sure that my face is protected. With an SPF coverage of 70, my face shouldn't be getting too much sun.

The Neutrogena UltraSheer(R) Liquid did protect like it was supposed to, but I had to be careful to reapply whenever I got sweaty or wet.

All in all, I think it is a good product for me. I wish it was a little less oily, but I'm not sure with my skin I'll ever find something that doesn't feel this way. I appreciate the coverage it gives and how easy it is to apply.

I did a review on the Ultra Sheer Sunblock too. I actually enjoyed it - but found it wasn't enough to protect other parts of my body, just my face. Probably because I wear a hat. I didn't have issues with the oiliness - but my skin tends to be rather dry.

I'm following from Thursday Friends & Giveaways. Thanks for following my blog and I'm following you now. Lets stay in touch! Did you enter my giveaways at http://givingnsharing.blogspot.com? 500 Business Cards & $50 in Usborne Books (this is a monthly giveaway, so you can reregister each month)
