My son likes Thomas and so do I. He has been around for a long time and has many fans. My brother-in-law fondly tells about watching Thomas when he was a young boy. Now that he has a son of his own, I'm sure this will be a fun show for them to watch together. I know I enjoy sharing things from my childhood with my son. The Thomas & Friends: Adventures on the Tracks 6-DVD Set has a lot of Thomas episodes in the entire set. I like that we can have one larger case, about the size of 2 regular DVD cases, with all of these videos inside. Our DVD racks are overflowing, so this helps us be able to have more videos and take up less space.
My son and I noticed with this set that there are some older videos. This is great, because we don't have anything older than my son (who just turned 6) unless it's a repacked video. This gave us 6 new-to-us Thomas DVDs and some of them are old classics. We had something strange with the Thomas & Friends: Adventures on the Tracks 6-DVD Set. Inside we were missing the Percy's Ghostly Trick & Rusty to the Rescue. And there were two different videos- Percy's Chocolate Crunch & Thomas & the Special Letter- instead. I don't know if these got mixed up in packaging or they ran out of those originally titles. I also don't know if this has happened with the other 6 DVD sets or perhaps it was just an issue with mine. Regardless, it's a lot of great Thomas & Friends fun to enjoy!
Thomas is fun for preschoolers and kids of all ages who enjoy train adventures. This 6-DVD set would be a good starter set for a young child to be introduced to Thomas. They'll be hooked right away. You can purchase the Thomas & Friends: Adventures on the Tracks 6-DVD Set in stores now.
