· DVD-Rom FunMy 5 year old is just maybe starting to outgrow Barney. I can’t tell for sure. He still enjoys watching the DVDs, but he’s not as hooked on him as he was a year and two years ago. I know it’s the age, and it means my baby is growing up. Fortunately I have nephews that are about the right age (1 year) to start subjecting them to Barney.

Barney is lovable and fun and he’s great for the young crowd. I have to admit that at first I didn’t think I could stand Barney, but I’d rather my kid watch wholesome entertainment than some alternatives. Barney is great for them to learn to use their imaginations. Plus Barney is always singing and dancing, so while my child is watching he’s up out of his seat dancing and singing along. I love that part.

The Barney PlayDate Pack has a little something for everyone with the variety of episodes. There are even plenty of bonus games and activities to keep your little ones entertained for a while.
